Highlights of the 2017 Mercy Manor Banquet
On March 11, 2017, Mercy Manor hosted its 25th Anniversary Banquet and Fundraiser at the Presidential Banquet Center. Our theme was "Paving the Way for A Brighter Tomorrow".

This year we honored Mrs. Rebecca Brown with the Sister Jean Foppe RSM Award for her service to both church and community. Rev. Sherry Gale, Ph.D. , Pastor of Grace Church, received the Special Community Service Award for her efforts to increase Grace Church's connection to Northwest Dayton and the City of Dayton communities. Dayton Cooks!, a Wesley Community Center/Grace Church collaboration food service training is the product of these connections. Ms. Khadijah Ali received the Special Leadership Community Service Award for her work with Montgomery Office of Ex-Offender Reentry as program director and co-founder of Circle of Vision Keepers (CVK). Her organization focuses on recovery, reentry, reintegration, mentoring, empowering the individual, enhancing family units and promoting community well being.

Letitia Perry, WHIO-TV News Center 7 Anchor served as Mistress of Ceremonies and the speaker of the hour was Rev. Dr. M. Patrick Murray, pastor and found of The Living Word Church in Vandalia, OH.
